This weeks Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at 146th St. and Hazel Dell Skatepark (8/31)

So it's been a while since we've been out to the 146th St. park so why the hell not? There will be a street session to follow as always so come on out and blade it up with your pals.

On a side note and an incredibly sad and unfortunate one...James Short of New Philadelphia, OH was hit by a drunk driver on his motorcycle on friday and passed away today at the hospital due to severe brain injury. James was a great rollerblader and truly a great human being. Take a moment to check out the post on the be-mag.com messageboard and pay your respects to this fallen 8 wheeled artist.

Jolie Crider Skatepark (Columbus, IN) 10th Anniversary Skate Contest (8/29)

Joe Nierman just sent me the flyer for the skate contest he's putting together for the re-dedication of the Jolie Crider skatepark in Columbus, IN. They really don't have a blade scene anymore so it would be great to get some guys out there to represent. Joe and his friends built this park from scratch and deserve some props so make sure to thank him for such an amazing park if you ever have the chance. Registration is at 10 so get there early.

I'll be out filming for a monday night skate edit so come on out and keep your eyes open for news on the 1st annual Indiana Inline Blade B-Q. I should have a date for it within the next couple of weeks!

CHANGE OF PLANS! Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at Greenwood Skatepark 6PM (8/17)

It's not supposed to rain on the southside so that's where we're going...Jeremy A. has some new spots he's been wanting to show me around there and there's all kinds of spots that haven't been touched in years that are dying to get some attention. Last Minute Thursday Evening Session 6PM Major Taylor's(8/14)

So there should be a pretty decent session at Major Taylor's tonight...I'm about to head out so hit me up or just show up if you want to do some blading. Rumours of a pool party afterwards are floating around...heh.
