Some Kinda Hate by Jason Bord **Full Video Online Now!**

So Jason Bord was nice enough to let me put this online. I'm pretty sure it came out some time around 2002-03. It's a classic Indiana blade flick that I've watched countless times.

Produced by Jason Bord.

Sections: Loran Bohall, Brian Walker, Tanner Tyree, Jason Bord, P.J. Mitchell, Jake Wilkes, and a bunch of totally rad montages

Strange Colors and All the Others Production Journal #1

So it's been a long time coming but a new video is finally in the works. This is the 1st of many production journals I'll be posting up over the next month or so to give some small glimpses into the project for your viewing pleasure. Anyways, so far I've got a rough draft version of Jeremy's section which is raw as *#$^ and as much as I'd love to show you some of it...I think you're going to have to wait.

In other news I just started working on the cover art for Strange Colors. I ended up spending wayyyy too much money on supplies but I think it will be worth it in the end. I'll definately post up some shots of the piece as soon as it's finished so stay tuned. Did I mention that my blu-ray burner arrived?

Keep checking back for more production journals and check the Indiana Inline Shop soon for DVD and Blu-Ray pre-order.

Strange Colors and All the Others Web Promo: A Night at Ollies

This past monday Alex Braunagel, Jeremy Adamowicz, and myself(Seth Andrews) woke up to unexpected snow so we decided to drive to Ollies and Florence, KY to put together a little promo edit for the new video and to blade just to blade. Indiana Inline Shop is Now Up!

Updating inventory as I type...check back soon.

UPDATE!!! Monday Night Skate is now on the road.

So since it snowed and solution is getting a little stale we're making our first trip to Ollies this winter. Don't worry if you can't make this one we'll go again soon. So far it's myself, Alex, and Josh rolling in one car...if anybody else is interested in catching a ride or starting a caravan hit one of us up for details. We'll be leaving around 4PM and I'm trying to get some people from the area to come out and blade with us so it should be a good time. An edit could be in the works...check back soon.

This Week's Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at the Lawrence, IN Skatepark 5PM (12/7)

So I guess Monday Night Skate is kind of unofficially over for the year but if anybody is down to blade it's not that bad as long as you bundle up and drink lots of coffee. New video teaser coming soon...I finally got my new editing setup running. Juiced. Stay tuned.

Massive Photo Post #1

So I bought a DSLR a few months ago and have started to shoot a little bit...I still don't have any flashes or anything but I figure I'll take my time and actually learn to use the camera before I buy a million things for it. Anyways, here are some shots over the last 3-4 months. Click the picture above to get to my Flikr account.

More Sad News...

I just read some horrible news on be-mag that Sean Callahan(right)has passed away. Sean was living in Chicago for the last few years but he still has his roots here in Indiana and I know many people will be devestated to hear the news. The services will be held in Evansville, IN and a memorial skate comp in chicago is being planned currently. Please check the be-mag post for more details.

This Week's Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at the new Lawrence Skate Park 5PM (11/2)

Monday Night Skate Update!!! (10/26)

So apparently 465 has been opened up once again so instead of heading out there around 6 after the carmel park sesh we'll be going to the perfect spot downtown. Make sure to get to Carmel on time or call somebody if you don't know where the perfect spot is.

Sunday, October 25, 2009

This weeks Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at the Carmel Monon Center Skatepark 5PM (10/26)

So it's been a while since we went to Carmel and Eric had a crazy idea to go try and skate 465 while it's shut down. For anybody interested we'll probably leave the park shortly after 6PM so get there early if you want to skate the park. See you there!

The 2009 Major Taylor's Blade Jam Edit Up Now!!!

Yeah so I finally got around to finishing it. Josh and I spent countless hours just trying to get the clips from his and Brandi's cameras onto my computer. Eventually we figured it out but most of the clips had been reconverted multiple times so enjoy the synthetic analog experience.

Sunday, October 18, 2009

This weeks Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at Major Taylor's 5PM (10/19)

We'll be leaving the park probably around 6-6:30 so if you want to skate the park make sure to get there at 5. We've only got a handful of Monday Night Skate's left in the season so let's get everybody out and shred. The Blade Jam edit is 90% complete so keep checking back!

The 2009 Blade B-Q Photos are Up!

Click the photo above to check out the pics Vince snapped. Overall I would say the Blade B-Q was a great success...we definately could have had more people there to enjoy the action but it definately wasn't needed. Once again a BIG thanks to Owen Novins for hosting, thanks to everyone who brought food and drink, and thanks again to everybody for coming out. Next year we'll do it when it's warm out. Jake Wilkes won four wheels for the best trick contest with a solid true fish down the box on the steps. We recorded the 3 hour box session too so get ready for the edit that Owen and Alex are about to make. Believe it or not the blade jam edit is almost finished so keep looking out for it. That is all.

So it's official...the 2009 Blade B-Q will be happening this coming Monday at Owen Nevin's house at 103 Timberlake Ct. Fishers, IN 46038.. The Indiana Inline slider box will be there and Owen has a grill so we're all good. The things we do need help with are drinks, ice, chips, and anything else food related is welcome. I'm going to buy a bunch of hamburgers and hotdogs and owen has plates and cups so other than that we should be good. Please shoot me a text or an email if you can bring something. See you there dudes!

This weeks Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at Pan Am Plaza Downtown 6PM(10/5)

Check out the pictures from our Saturday skate trip to Columbus, IN. We got quite a bit of footage too but you're going to have to wait to see some of that. This weeks monday night skate will be a downtown street only session. There's not much more filming time in the year so let's get everybody out and get some last minute skating in. Next week's MNS will more than likely be the Blade B-Q but we're still working out the final details. Stay posted for more info very soon.

This weeks Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at 146th St. and Hazel Dell Skatepark (8/31)

So it's been a while since we've been out to the 146th St. park so why the hell not? There will be a street session to follow as always so come on out and blade it up with your pals.

On a side note and an incredibly sad and unfortunate one...James Short of New Philadelphia, OH was hit by a drunk driver on his motorcycle on friday and passed away today at the hospital due to severe brain injury. James was a great rollerblader and truly a great human being. Take a moment to check out the post on the be-mag.com messageboard and pay your respects to this fallen 8 wheeled artist.

Jolie Crider Skatepark (Columbus, IN) 10th Anniversary Skate Contest (8/29)

Joe Nierman just sent me the flyer for the skate contest he's putting together for the re-dedication of the Jolie Crider skatepark in Columbus, IN. Joe and his friends built this park from scratch and deserve some props so make sure to thank him for such an amazing park if you ever have the chance. Registration is at 10 so get there early.

Indiana Inline.com's 1st Birthday Party!

It's pretty hard to believe but exactly 1 year ago today I made the first post on Indiana Inline. In just 1 year we now have over 70 members on our messageboard and growing scenes in multiple Indiana cities. Everybody take a minute to pat yourselves on the back for sticking with the most unpopular and constantly stereotyped sport of rollerblading. Let's make year #2 unforgettable...one love errrbody.

Skatepark Roadtrip to Kentucky and Ohio 7/25 or 7/26

Matt Lorch posted this up on the messageboard about an upcoming skatepark roadtrip so hit up the board and get in on this no matter where you're from.

A road trip is being planned to Florence, KY's outdoor concrete park, as well as Delhi Township, OH's outdoor street plaza (western Cincinnati). Florence's skatepark is well-rounded and has a lot of lines. Delhi has some great street obstacles...not to mention an amazing wedge to ledge obstacle. If you are interested in going, would you prefer either Saturday, July 25th or Sunday, July 26th? Time of departure would be approximately 9:00 AM. I vote for Saturday, however this depends on the weather forecast. Check back later in the week for confirmations of the date and the departure time.

The 2009 Major Taylor's Blade Jam

CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL GALLERY
All photos by Chris Lenfert

The Major Taylor’s Inline Contest has always been a great facilitator for connecting skaters from different parts of Indiana and the Midwest. For almost a decade this gathering has been happening annually without a hiccup until a few years ago when people either grew up or moved away from home. The success of the Major Taylor’s Blade Jam is exactly what Indiana needed as a catalyst for growth. What we do with that growth will consequently affect the livelihood of our lifestyle for when we’re too old and battered to be on the front lines. Although we’ve definitely had way more bladers show up at Major Taylor’s comps in the past, this one was most definitely my favorite and I can’t wait to see what this summer has in store for Indiana Inline.

Results
Expert:
1. Steven Tat (Bowling Green, KY)
2. Jeremy Adamowicz (Indianapolis, IN)
3. Alex Braunagel (Indianapolis, IN
4. Owen Nevins (Indianapolis, IN)

6. Jacob Wilkes (Indianapolis, IN)
7. Danny Gantcher (Ohio)

Intermediate:

2. Kendall Ervin

2. Tyler Baker

McVan's Video Games Best Trick Winner

Jeremy Adamowicz

I would like to give a HUGE thanks to all the sponsors, everyone who helped with the event, and everyone who simply made it out to the comp. All proceeds from this contest went directly to the skate park which is in a huge budget crunch so every little bit helped immensely. Following up the Blade Jam an Indianapolis AIL competition is in the works and scheduled for August 16th, The 2009 Brass Knuckle Beatdown will be happening soon after, and Tiny Beautiful Things will be released this Christmas so keep checking IndianaInline.com to stay up on the latest news. Make sure to support the following companies since they support us: Razors, One, McVan’s Video Games, Roll Blue, E-Rolling, Rollerblade, and Aggressivemall. The edit should be up any day this week...Brandi donated some footage for the edit but I don't have a mini-dv camera anymore so there's been a slight delay on getting the edit done. Check back soon!

This weeks Indianapolis Monday Night Skate at the Carmel Monon Center Skatepark 6PM (7/6)

It's been quite a while since we've done a Monday Night Skate anywhere other than Major Taylor's and most definately a while since the Carmel kids were overwhelmed with rollerbladers. 6PM and then of course there will be a northside street filming session after a while so make sure to come out. See you there.

Anyways, finally got all the footy for the Blade Jam so expect an edit within a week. Keep checking and using the site to your advantage so we can see another 100 posts and another and another and so on. Peace.

1. Steven Tat (Bowling Green, KY)
2. Jeremy Adamowicz (Indianapolis, IN)
3. Alex Braunagel (Indianapolis, IN
4. Owen Nevins (Indianapolis, IN)
5. Seth Andrews (Indianapolis, IN)
6. Jacob Wilkes (Indianapolis, IN)

Check back very soon...I'm writing up a story for Be-mag.com about the comp and will post that up on Indiana Inline as well as soon as they put it online. I still don't feel like I've said thanks enough for everyone that helped make this event happen...so thanks...again. Peace.
